I find the use of scales completely pointless. Who cares how much you weigh? ‘Cause you certainly shouldn’t.
I can guarantee that a lot more people would be much happier with their bodies if they didn’t weigh themselves. If you’re at a size you’re happy with, then why does weight matter. The issue is that people use their weight as an indication of whether they should be happy with themselves or not.
Weight is just another pointless number. We all know what a healthy size for our bodies are. You can do it all by eye and how you feel. Muscle weighs more than fat, so really I don’t feel that your weight is an accurate representation of the size of your body.
To me, scales are just instruments that we use and generally make us feel bad. I haven’t used the scales in months. I still fit into the same clothes, I still feel the same and I still look visually the same. Why not go without using the scales for a while and see how much happier it makes you :)
