I find the use of scales completely pointless. Who cares how much you weigh? ‘Cause you certainly shouldn’t.I can guarantee that a lot more people would be much happier with their bodies if they didn’t weigh themselves. If you’re at a size you’re happy with, then why does weight matter. The issue is that people use their weight as an indication of whether they should be happy with themselves or not. Weight is just another pointless number. We all know what a healthy size for our bodies are. You can do it all by eye and how you feel. Muscle weighs more than fat, so really I don’t feel that your weight is an accurate representation of the size of your body. To me, scales are just instruments that we use and generally make us feel bad. I haven’t used the scales in months. I still fit into the same clothes, I still feel the same and I still look visually the same. Why not go without using the scales for a while and see  how much happier it makes you :)

Sorry about not posting for a few days guys, I’m absolutely SWAMPED with my final project!

Deadlines are getting closer and I’m trying not to fail.

In the meantime, just remember that although you may not feel beautiful all the time, you can guarantee that someone out there wishes they looked like you, there’s always someone! You’re more beautiful than you think you are. You need to see what everyone else sees in you!

Uni is getting a little bit frantic at the moment, I will be posting much more often when my final project is out of the way :)

But until then, just remember to love yourself, love your imperfections and realise that actually, those imperfections are what make you you. Our differences are what make us unique and beautiful!

Holy crap. I mean… I have no idea who this lady is, but that is amazing. She wanted to change something about her and she did :) I for one am happy to say she looks fantastic and healthy.

thank you for putting up christina hendricks :)

:) you’re welcome. She’s amazing!

No matter what you do to change yourself, society will still tell you it isn’t enough.

Never feel pressured into changing just because society tells you you’re supposed to be a certain way. If you’re happy with yourself, then screw what anyone else thinks. If you’re not happy with yourself, you need to ask yourself why? Is it really a good reason? Or do you see something completely different to your friends and family?

You probably don’t think so, but this is the issue for a lot of girls with eating disorders and body dismorphia. They generally see themselves as being bigger than than they are. How can you be sure you aren’t doing the same.

If your friends tell you that you’re lovely the way you are, then listen to them. If they’re good friends, they won’t lie to you.
